DNV GL AS Phast 7.11 Final
Phast is a software tool for hazard and risk analysis of industrial processes, developed by DNV GL, a global provider of risk management and quality assurance services. Phast can model various types of scenarios, such as fire, explosion, toxic release, and dispersion, and estimate their consequences in terms of physical effects, fatalities, and injuries. Phast can also perform quantitative risk assessment (QRA) and produce risk contours and individual risk results.

A new option for using the Multi-Energy explosion modelling method, which allows users to model a single confined source that contains the entire mass of the cloud, or to define multiple confined sources and unconfined portions of the cloud.
An improved user interface for defining leak scenarios, which simplifies the input process and provides more flexibility and control over the leak parameters.
A new option for using the Gaussian puff model for dispersion modelling, which can account for the effects of wind speed and direction changes over time.
A new option for using the jet fire model for fire modelling, which can simulate jet fires with variable release direction and flame tilt.
A new option for using the pool fire model for fire modelling, which can simulate pool fires with variable pool shape and size.
An updated database of physical properties for flammable and toxic substances, which includes more than 2,000 substances and covers a wider range of temperatures and pressures.
An updated database of explosion data for flammable substances, which includes more than 600 data points from various sources and covers a wider range of scenarios.
An improved graphical user interface (GUI) for displaying and manipulating results, which provides more options for customizing plots, tables, and reports.
The final version of Phast 7.11 also fixed some bugs and errors that were reported in previous versions of the software. The release note provides a detailed list of the changes and enhancements that were made in Phast 7.11.
Phast 7.11 is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems. Users who have a valid license for Phast can download the installation files from the DNV GL - Software download website. Phast 7.11 is the latest and final version of Phast that uses the version 6 user interface.
